Tour through Stuttgart-West__________________________
Welcome to an interactive tour of Stuttgart's western district
In addition to guided tours in Normandy, I also offer guided tours for groups of up to 10 people through the fascinating Stuttgart-West district.
From industrial district to urban hotspot
Stuttgart-West – a place steeped in industrial history, with architecture dating back to the Wilhelminian era and a lively neighborhood that is very popular with its residents.
Join me on a three-hour interactive tour where you can become an explorer yourself – in the heart of one of the most fascinating districts in Stuttgart, if not Germany.
Where industrial history comes to life
The exciting past of Stuttgart's west unfolds between magnificent Gründerzeit style facades and historic production sites. You will learn how the district was shaped by the Wilhelminian era and the industrial age – and discover traces of important companies such as Bosch, BASF, Knosp, Siegle, Bleyle, Waldbauer, and Klett.
This interactive tour puts you at the center of attention and allows you to get involved at various stations: you solve little puzzles, savor the sweet history of the city, and try out how complicated sending letters used to be or what children's clothing felt like 100 years ago.
A look at urban change
On your tour, you will also encounter topics such as citizens' initiatives, gentrification, and the effects of climate change – embedded in a broader view of how a district changes over time.
Three hours full of history, interaction, and discoveries
Experience Stuttgart-West as a living history and interactive laboratory: rich in tradition, surprising, shaped by big names and little anecdotes—and always open to new perspectives.
